Chris New

Graduated from University Of London (SOAS) with LLB Law (Hons). Worked for Computacenter for 14 years through to 2001. Computacenter is Europe’s leading IT service provider providing outsourced IT solutions to enterprise businesses globally. Chris started as an Account Manager and progressed through Branch Manager, London Regional Manager, General Manager to Managing Director Enterprise Customers. From 1995 Chris was a member of the Computacenter Operating Committee and held this senior management role through the successful IPO of the company in 1998 reporting directly to the CEO from 1994.

Post-Computacenter Chris was headhunted into BT UK as Director Finance Industry Solutions responsible for ICT solutions for the UK and International finance sector. After immigrating to NZ Chris has worked for Telecom NZ and subsequently with Spark Digital on a number of different projects ranging from sales and marketing to restructuring business units.

As Board Chair of Securecom, his focus is to ensure that we deliver against our goals and objectives. Our goal is simply to continue to delight our customers with great products and services and attract talented motivated people to make this happen. Chris is innovative and straightforward in achieving customer objectives.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys travel, family time, skiing, and kayak fishing.
