NetworkSD-WAN

How we can help

Software Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN) is a new way for you to use bandwidth more efficiently and improve application performance on your WAN. It leverages a range of access networks, such as the IPVPN, Internet, and LTE, and uses software defined networking (SDN) to intelligently route traffic along the best available path.

More Security Services

The SecureCom TotalNET cloud managed SD-WAN solution is smart, simple, secure, and provides an excellent user experience with consistent and optimum WAN connectivity. The following features are included:

  • Cisco Meraki Next-Generation Firewall with 24/7 Alerting and Management
  • Get in-depth visibility into client devices, users, applications, bandwidth, and content natively in the dashboard.
  • Assign the appropriate access, traffic, and security policies for each device, VLAN, or user group using Meraki group policies. Clients are automatically detected and classified so the correct policies can be applied.
  • Protect your network with an integrated intrusion detection and prevention engine. These components use a combination of signature (automatically updated), protocol, and anomaly-based inspection methods. Rulesets refresh daily to provide predefined security policies that protect against the latest vulnerabilities, including exploits, viruses, rootkits, and more.
  • Deploy Cisco Firepower Intrusion Detection and Prevention (includes automatic vulnerability definitions) on your appliance in seconds with just a few clicks in the dashboard.
  • Take advantage of built-in security reporting that makes it easy to filter data and view wide-ranging security event data in the dashboard
  • Tailor granular identity-based policies to specific groups wherever Active Directory (AD) is used. This reduces configuration steps and simplifies group-based filtering.
  • Administer content filtering and malware protection with ease. The associated databases are kept up to date automatically, so you don’t have to manually purchase, track, or apply updates.
  • Sustain dual WAN uplinks with automatic failover for protection against Internet or dealership connection outages.
  • Uphold secure tunnelling between sites using either mesh or hub and spoke topologies.
  • This includes integrated threat defence technologies for direct Internet access (DIA), combined with IPsec VPN and Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) protocol, help ensure secure communication with cloud applications, remote offices, or datacentres.
  • Increase application performance with centralised network visibility and control. You can also enhance QoS and bandwidth management by setting traffic shaping rules to prioritise bandwidth for your business-critical enterprise applications.
  • With a single and intuitive workflow, SecureCom TotalNET lets you expand network traffic distribution options (Internet, cellular, or MPLS). Built-in load balancing and automatic failover capabilities provide reliability regardless of the traffic pathway.
  • Enhance traffic path selections with:
    • Easily direct certain types of traffic over a particular link based on source, destination, or application, such as sending voice traffic over an MPLS path.
    • Automatically adjust the VPN path that is used for different types of traffic based on VPN performance. This includes set loss, latency, and jitter thresholds to control which path the Meraki MX Cloud Managed Security Appliances will use to send traffic based on current network conditions.
    • Select the best VPN tunnel for network traffic automatically based on performance.

Dedicated Internet Pool

SecureCom’s TotalNET SD-WAN Internet is a high speed symmetrical service that enables customers to access national and international Internet services at locally delivered handover ports. This ensures that remote sites can take advantage of connections to the local exchanges rather than pay for expensive backhaul for every site to a central location. Every site can operate in isolation as there is no single points of failure in the network.

Cisco Meraki MX Security Appliance

SecureCom’s TotalNET SD-WAN features Cisco Meraki MX Cloud Managed Security Appliances installed at every site.

Each Meraki MX provides the functionality of six complex appliances; Router, Firewall, VPN concentrator, Load Balancer, WAN acceleration, Content Filter into a single cloud management platform.

These devices are equipped with SD-WAN capabilities, offering the next-generation of WAN architecture. Your network dynamically adjusts to changing WAN conditions, ensuring that every site can run independently of each other while being fully connected via Cisco Meraki AutoVPN, including IP security (IPsec) VPN technology.

The solution enhances Internet connectivity at each site by controlling traffic between locations based on set policies, types of traffic, and WAN availability—offering excellent performance.

You will get all the benefits offered by the cloud managed Meraki MX platform including scalability from a small site with one user right up to large sites with thousands of users. Cisco Meraki Auto VPN ensures that additional sites can easily be added over time. All the site needs is an Internet connection.

In addition to offering integrated SD-WAN capabilities, TotalNET SD-WAN provides a robust feature set for security including:

Intrusion Prevention

Every network is a potential target for malicious attacks. The proposed solution makes it easy to configure intrusion prevention and protect your network with:
